Schimpf Weizenbock

Schimpf Weizenbock

Dark copper colour. Evenly, densely cloudy. Tan, dense head. The nose offers ripe banana, prune, rum from wood barrel. Full-bodied initial taste with powerful presence. Fine bubbles, delicate yet creamy, subdued sweetness. Reminiscent of wild honey and dried fruit; apricot, plum, banana. A touch of acidity makes it a nimble Bockbier. Dry finish, vanilla and warmth, again reminiscent of aged rum.
